The Study on Influence Factors and Life satisfaction of People with Disabilities

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the life satisfaction changing on an annual basis. Also, it analyzed how the 4st year Disabled Employment Panel Survey data"s predictive variables influence the life satisfaction. The 4st~8th Disabled Employment Panel Survey data was analyzed by the latent growth model. As a result, the second year change model was the most appropriate for every type verification. The life satisfaction has been increasing for the past 5 years. Also, according to the 4st year"s data, higher life satisfaction meant slower increase in a long term. The analysis of the condition model showed that life satisfaction was higher when not receiving basic living supply, and life satisfaction was higher when married. Socioeconomic status also showed higher life satisfaction than the middle and lower classes in the middle and upper class. In the case of discrimination in everyday life, the initial level of daily life satisfaction was lower than that of the subjects who were never disabled person. However, the rate of increase in life satisfaction was higher in cases of discrimination in the rate of change. The rate of increase is slow because the initial level is very high. In the case of the type of home ownership is own a house, rental housing, free of charge higher than monthly rent, monthly rent paid in advance. Finally, in the case of non-economic activity, the initial value of life satisfaction was higher than that of economic activity. Finally, in the case of self - esteem, the higher the self - esteem, the higher the initial value of life satisfaction. Based on these results, we discussed the policy direction needed to improve the life satisfaction of the disabled.
